Resolution

To make application more accessible, adopt gnome style guidelines

Are you referring to the GNOME Human Interface Guidlines? And since BCAM uses PyGTK (which uses GTK version 2), are you using the older version 2 guidelines, or the latest version 3 guidelines?

Edit: Note that there's also Compatibility Guidelines in the latest version.

As gnome is moving towards tablet/desktop integration, I decided that gnome2's guidelines are better suited for cad/cam program. So far the only thing I did on this way is File menu and accelerators/hotkeys for it. Im generally open for propositions as far as it helps bcam grow =)
