contact for IT department security review #588

Our IT department requires a security review before software installation. Is there a specific contact for XCMS that I can use for the security review (name and email address)? Thanks for your help with this.

hm, note that along with xcms you'll need also to install R and a large number of Bioconductor packages - not sure if your IT department wants to check all of them...

For xcms, I guess since I checked the code and re-wrote big part of it, you can use my contact (Johannes Rainer johannes.rainer@eurac.edu).

Hi, please also note that the GPL license has an explicit section on the absence of any warranty https://github.com/sneumann/xcms/blob/c96763830102998a590ecb8e468a832191dd8049/LICENSE#L268 Having said that, if the review discovers security issues and possibly even suggestions for fixing, that'd be more than welcome.
