Test case:
Using xmpp uri to open a chat view in Snikket for iOS
Test Environment:
iPhone Pro 13 iOS 16.5 (20F66)
Snikket for iOS 1.2.1 Build 4
Fastmail Contacts via Fastmail for iOS (behaves the same with Safari on iOS 16.5)
Repros:
Verify that +18559743753@cheogram.com is in a Snikket contact
Force quit Snikket to reset UI
Open contact in Fastmail
Add Website as xmpp://+18559743753@cheogram.com
Save contact
Tap on contact website link
Snikket opens to the chats view (not the chat view for that phone number)
This same xmpp uri used in Safari does the exact same thing as above
Using xmpp:+18559743753@cheogram.com opens the browser with cheogram.com...
Screenshots attached
Expected result:
The contact should open a chat view with the contact
