Either a prompt, or, ideally, an integration with a cloud backup service/whatever browser extensions use to sync their settings to automatically upload the watch history every n hours/days. It's quite spooky to have to rely on remembering to manually export, especially given the prominent warning about "uninstalling the browser or even just this addon would lead to the loss of your timeline".

I think this enhancement is really necessary to avoid losing the local database of the extension. I do not think it is even necessary to save it to the Cloud directly, a local folder on the PC would already be enough (which could then be moved or created directly in the space reserved for the Dropbox / Google Drive / OneDrive client and so on, like https://github.com/Drive4ik/simple-tab-groups already do (just for example).

It should do both local and remote copy (if possible). Proper backups should be redundant, otherwise one might end up loosing it: "The server is down. Wheres the backup? On the server...".
