[Feature Request]: Simultaneously linking assets and assigning them to Individuals #13899

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

it's not possible to link assets together and simultaneously check them out to an individual. This restricts our ability to efficiently manage sets of interrelated assets assigned to specific employees.

In our organization, we often work with asset groups (like a computer with its related peripherals) that need to be issued as a unit to employees. The ability to link these assets together while assigning them to an individual would streamline our operations and improve overall asset tracking efficiency.

Describe the solution you'd like

The ideal solution would be a feature in Snipe-IT that allows for assets to be both linked together and checked out to an individual simultaneously. This feature would enable us to assign a group of related assets (e.g., a laptop, its charger, and a mouse) to a person while maintaining a clear link between these assets in the system. Such a functionality would significantly simplify the process of managing grouped assets and ensure more accurate tracking and responsibility assignment in our asset management system.

Describe alternatives you've considered

We have considered two alternative methods:

However, both approaches are manual and prone to errors. They require additional steps and do not provide the seamless, integrated tracking and assignment capability that we seek. An automated solution within Snipe-IT would greatly reduce these manual interventions and the associated risk of inaccuracies.
