I don't see this come often enough to consider adding this anytime soon. It's certainly possible to create the asset, then add files and add a note about what they're for. I believe that's how most people generally handle this.
We do know it's one more step and that's kind of annoying, so we're not ruling it out.

Describe the solution you'd like
In order Related information, Be able to attach receipts to an asset. So when you need to claim for warranty or find a receipt its attached to the asset. It's different than normal files as most of the information relates to the "Order related information" eg. order number/Purchase Date/supplier/ purchasing cost.
