@rkthamizhan Thank you for the kind words. You only need to make sure that your assets, accessories, users, etc actually have a company set. The rest should largely take care of itself. Some things (categories, suppliers, locations) are not constrained by company at this point (because who wants to add "Apple" as a supplier 30 times, one for each company), but we are considering potentially expanding the coverage for that.

Dear Snipe IT ,
I hope this message finds you well. We have been utilizing Snipe IT for our IT asset management and are thoroughly impressed with its capabilities. We are now looking to extend its functionality to our facilities department, which manages equipment such as chillers, freezers, and air conditioning units, TV,
We have enabled the multi-company support feature and have set up two companies within the system: Com1-IT Support and Com2-Facility. Our objective is to restrict the visibility of certain categories, models, manufacturers, and suppliers that are specific to the IT department from the Facilities department, while still allowing both departments to share user data.
Specifically, we would like the Com2-Facility department to only have access to assets and users associated with their department (Com2) and not see any IT-related categories, models, manufacturers, or suppliers. This segregation is crucial for maintaining an organized and efficient asset management system across different departments.
Could you please guide us on how to configure these restrictions appropriately within Snipe IT? Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your continued support.
