Accessories/Components/License requestable #5908

Open NerijusKr opened 6 years ago

NerijusKr commented 6 years ago

Hey,

It would be great if accessories, components and license could be requestable in same manner as assets can be.

huangshifang commented 6 years ago

Through the use of this period of time, I feel that the demand of the building Lord is also what I want to mention.

I don't know what this means.

Vote for this,

And please addon quantity option under request function, where user can request for how many they require. Example user want to request keyboard under accessories for 2 unit, so they can put 2 quantity under quantity option. And also under checkout option must addon how many quantity approved based on user request. Let see my total keyboard have 20 unit in stock, one of user request for 3 unit and i only approved for 2 unit. So in my stock still got balance 18 unit.

Sorry for my bad english.

+1 Agreed. This function is useful for a multitude of situations. Checking out/in accessories that are not individually tagged, but do need to be accounted for.

x3inspire commented 5 years ago

Please please please bring up this feature, i willing to pay for the modification if this feature not released for free.

I would also like to see this feature, there are multiple requests for this feature, such as #6520

stale[bot] commented 2 years ago

Okay, it looks like this issue or feature request might still be important. We'll re-open it for now. Thank you for letting us know!

snipe commented 2 years ago

Re-opening this one after closing #6520, as this one was first.

+1 This is integral to our use case. Would also be useful to have a single request contain multiple asset models, consumables, accessories, etc, since they will all be part of the same FedEx shipment.

Seriously, been over 4 years and still nothing. I seriously second this feature, as I don't currently see any other point of letting other users in, because the accesories and consumables are not requestable.

baldpope commented 1 year ago

+1 on this as well. components and accessories should have the option for request, the perfect examples thus far are keyboards/mice/webcam/headphones. there are likely other examples of items that don't warrant full 'asset' status.

in our organization, anything less than $500 is considered an expense and therefore doesn't necessarily qualify for an asset tag.

please add support for this...

just my 2 cents...

Mistic92 commented 1 year ago

Any update on that?

please add this feature, it is very necessary, users do not need to request assets but rather consumables and accessories

viclou commented 1 year ago

Related to internal FD issue 34159

I just went to add headsets to snipe-it for people to request and realised they are not Requestable Assets. I thought that was a given. Also, I cannot add accessories to Predefined Kit? Starters need laptops, headsets, cases, mice etc. I would have thought this was classed as an unassetable stock.
