+1 to bring this back up. A sorely needed feature.

This would be VERY beneficial!!!
Suggestion: Add a checkbox in the "Bulk Audit" space that says "Check-in Asset".
Then you can (optionally) use the Bulk Audit page to also bulk check-in.

I wrote a simple Python script to meet my own needs for the time-being In my case, I will regularly be checking-in a certain number of assets and I already know what the asset tags are, so I would just key in the assets tags and run the script.
Hope you will find it useful, you need to pip install requests
and run the script like this python bulk_checkin.py
.
Before running the script, adjust the code where I commented it out.

GistSnipeIT Bulk Check-in. GitHub Gist: instantly share code, notes, and snippets.
I also would like to see this feature
This is in v6.
This is in v6.
Where can i find this option? I'm on version 6.08 can't seem to find bulk checkin.
You can search for the user and checkin all properties via the bulk edit or on their user page, or use the quick Scan Checkin to check in multiple assets via the asset bulk edit form.
This is not what I was suggesting for bulk check-in. It's nice to be able to check all assets for a single user, but what we need is different.
We need a way to scan multiple assets and have them checked into a default location. We will have hundreds of laptops needing checked in and ideally would be able to scan them, one after another with no need to change settings or touch the computer. These laptops are all checked out to different users, so the bulk check-in you are referring to will not work in this instance.
Ideally I can see having a screen with an input asset tag field and default check-in options. Upon entering the asset tag, it will come back to the same screen and be ready to input another asset tag. This way a barcode scanner could be used to scan the barcode (and automatically hit enter/return) to submit the form. Then we can move directly to the next item to check in, and scan these items over and over and over, as fast as the form submission form can keep up.

Use the quick scan check in. It's above the bulk checkout option.

Think of a school situation: We check items out on location(classrooms). one clasroom can have 15 to 25 items(desktop, thin clients, laptops) sometimes we move items from one classroom to another(checkin and checkout) other times we archive a total class en supply it with new items. so in example this summer we switch 3 classes with 25 devices witch is 75 checkin's no so funny to do this manual? new devices we import with csv directy into the right location an that works like a charm.
another situation: students of the last year(200) rent a laptop from school, when the school ended in juni, these devices return to the school and needs to be checked in to the stock ... how do we to that in an efficient way?
Regards Sven
Literally the bulk checkin. Use a barcode scanner (which itβs built to work with) and 75 is done in less than a half an hour.
Iβm locking this thread. The issue has already been resolved.
Hello, Could it be possible to do a bulk check-in for multiple assets. So in theory when you search for an asset, you can also check in anything else that is assigned to a user.
