[Feature Request] - Recall email notification for checked out assets

It would be handy to have an asset recall feature where if a user is assigned an asset, the system would email the user advising that the asset is being recalled, with a brief explanation attached to the email explaining the reason for recall.

I'm experiencing this as we lifecycle assets every three years and have to do data exports and mailmerges

I agree with this. We have been ramping up usage. I would also like to be able to manually fire off a return request for a checked out asset list.

Mode of operation would be,:

• Click all assets to be recalled Fields to be included in message (Asset Name, Asset Tag Number, Date of Checkout)
• Click box under "Actions" fires recall message template with listed assets and fields placed in body of message.
• CC Admin for tracking purposes.
