http://code.google.com/p/adw-launcher-android/issues/detail?id=114
Issue is old hence reporting it a new.

Attach mock-ups/screenshots if you can.

CORRECTION/FIX DIRECTION
========================

Firstly...
Remove the arrows on either side of the bottom Docker unless there are more
than one user created groups/catalogs the 'uncataloged group' should be
excluded and not be counted.

Second...
Currently the menu button in the drawer has the following 4 options.

1. Setup catalog
2. Choose catalog
3. Remove catalog
4. Manage applications.

Say we replace the 'Remove catalog' option with say a 'More' option
And this 'More option can have the following 2 options.

1. Remove catalog
2. Uncataloged(hidden) Group.

this way one can just click the menu button in the drawer choose 'More' and
choose the 'Uncataloged(hidden) group.

FEATURE IMPLEMENTED SUCCESFULLY !!!

Please provide any additional information below.

Forgive me...but under the current implementation available in the ADW
launcher, this features request is not well served

Under the current implementation available...
One creates a new group/catalog -> menu -> setup Catalog -> check the apps you
want to add to that group/catalog and then check the 'catalog only' option in
the ADW drawer settings.

Right !!!

1. The apps that have been unchecked while setting up the catalog don't show up
in the newly created group/catalog.......fair enough......If this was all to
this...then...implementation is ON-TRACK !!!

Not really !!!
Well lets see the shortcomings...

After the above is done, the apps that were unchecked with the intention of
hiding are now in the default uncataloged group. As long as this uncataloged
group was kept away(hidden - and accessible in a difficult manner) this feature
would have been air tight ! AND SERVED WELL !!!

BUT !!!

This so called hide-intended apps are made easily available through a paginated
swipe so anybody who is used to a paginated drawer style, will just swipe
sideways and the HIDDEN apps are revealed to him without a sweat !!!

NOT just that, but the home Docker carries two BIG arrows pointing on either
sides so a touch on those arrows will take you to the uncataloged group as well

SO THE HIDDEN FEATURE IS NOT REALLY SERVED !!!

TO SERVE WELL :
All thats needed to be done is to hide the uncataloged group by default !!!

AND THE IMPLEMENTATION IS GOING TO BE WELL SERVED !!!
