Having access to advanced options, ie. Standalone Video.

Mac: 10.7.4
Chrome: Version 20.0.1132.57
Chrome-Toolbox: Version: 1.0.32

"The OSX/Mac version has virtually no options?  For example I love the option 
to open a new tab when entering search data into the URL line.  This is not 
available on the Mac extension.  I thought extensions were portable across

Ubuntu 12.04, Chromium 18, same issue. I've only "Floating toolbar" and "When 
clicking on a link, ..." options available. Installed today, tried restarting 
browser.

So, since Google still hasn't fixed this issue, does anyone know of another 
extension which provides similar features? Opening a new URL from the address 
bar is really a must for me.
