New tab on enter not working with latest version of Chrome #189

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Install chrome toolbox
2.  Enable "When pressing enter in address bar with a URL in it, open the URL 
in a new tab"
3.  Enter text in the address bar and press enter

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

  Should open in new tab but it no longer seems to work. I assume something got updated in Chrome which broke this.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

  28.0.1500.95 m on Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

This appears to be working again, so for now there is no issue.

I'm experiencing the same issue and it is VERY frustrating when I've been using 
this feature for years with Firefox. In fact, I wouldn't switch to chrome until 
this solution was in place and now I've taken a step back in time...

I've attempted to uninstall and re-install, activate and reactivate the 
extension with no success.

Chrome Version 30.0.1599.66 m
Issue occurs in Windows XP and Windows 7
