Can't select properly the configuration files if not in user home #60

I'm not sure why, but it seems impossible to select the configuration file if it is not in the user home, at least in KDE Plasma:

How can I go back to /? Also, it is not clear, what is this file used for? What if I want to install packages following the nixpkgs registry?

Oh, ok, seems like I need to click on the + Other locations at the end of the left menu bar. I thought it was to add a new shortcut because of the "+" symbol, but seems like it it just do browse other locations.
