Hi,

I'm very new to R and trying to model species distributions through maxent in R studio, but stuck with

"Error in .jcheck(silent = TRUE) : No running JVM detected "

I'm using windows 10 I re-installed java 64bit and placed in the correct folder and also rJava also re-installed as suggested by many people.

Appreciate if someone can help me to solve this problem.

Hello,

I am having the same problem right now! I got the error on windows 10 as well as 11 and am using the most current version of Java and R, as well as the right version (64bit). I also tried re-installing rJava. I am running out of ideas! I was wondering if you found a solution by now?

Best, Malve
