fandom-name replacement template doesn't work in form letters #5

When using the [[fandom-name]] replacement template in form letters, it isn't replaced by the fandom name of the individual like it would be expected to work; instead it just outputs the literal text [[fandom-name]]

I cannot reproduce this either. See attachments, tested with the Attendee form letter for a completed registration.

If this is specific to a form letter or a attendee type, feel free to reopen this issue and provide more details.

This behavior is reproducible in production right now:

Submit a panelist application
Email does not replace [[fandom-name]]

Thinking about this, I think it's because some of these form e-mails are at the application level and some are at the badge level.

Is there a reasonable solve for this?
