There is a typo in the README for building.

try to cd snowfs.git

Directory is found

OS: All Unix-like OS's and Windows with git-bash or cmd
Additional context
More of a note, IMO it's not a great practice to include bash $ or # in code-blocks as it makes usage for end-developers a little tedious (makes it impossible to copy/paste the entire block)
