smh, I do not understand why its icon is Tux with a paintbrush.

@snwh because Chinese have the trandition to write with brush,brush means chinese charactor for chinese

Very well, but as an icon it's not clear in its meaning.

Tux refers to Linux, and brush refers to Chinese writing. Fcitx means "Free Chinese Input Tool for X"(It also support Wayland now). So for chinese Linux user, the icon is clear enough.

The vast majority of Chinese Linux users are using this input method. It will be very thankful if you can make icons for Fcitx.

By the way, the meaning of the icon is different with the name. May be the creator of Fcitx wanted to express "Linux input method for Chinese."
