From the invitation:

All oral presentations will be pre-recorded and must be uploaded by Thursday, 10 February, 2022. The pre-recorded presentations can be up to 15 minutes in duration.

Scheduled oral sessions will be hosted in Zoom and will follow the 6-5-30 format. Six presenters will each give a live five-minute overview of their abstract. The remaining 30 minutes are available for discussion.

Your five-minute overview will be live and does not need to be pre-recorded

First, we need to prepare the presentation! With 15 minutes, we can go into a bit of detail about the method, which is nice. So I'm thinking:

• Very quick reminder of the context of the Weddell Gyre (probably won't need much detail in this session)
• Goal: examine structure of Weddell Gyre through this unique lens, pull value from limited observations
• Description of methods (PCA, GMM, other general unsupervised classification methods)
• Results: the four-class Weddell Gyre structure model
• Message: learned about the separation between CDW-mixing-affected and not-mixing-affected waters
