The idea is for all users on the game to have a "live" identity, denoted by some sort of signifier that is displayed through the cursor and cursor movements. Think Google Docs; every user's edits are highlighted by their personal color identity.

I can't find the exact website I saw it on, but I will try to make a mockup to clearly show what I'm trying to say. I hope this screen shot of a google doc makes it a little more clear!
