Lars 2023- mid year updates #42

Here are a few things that I thought might be useful to add, given how often we need to request this in a second revision.

I would stick with semantic versioning, where x.y.z, with z=typos, and y=enhancements. This would be 1.2 then.

Technically, I think I've linked this repo to Zenodo, so that a release (from the rendered branch! not the source branch) will be deposited on Zenodo. I need to check before we make a release.
