hi. sorry if my english is bad. i have a psone scph101 v4.4 bios, not modded. i tried some of the latest tonyhax and i tried the first one, none worked. i get stuck on starting game. but when i use tony hax exploit on my ps2 fat, it works si its not my burned copy. i tried freepsxboot too and unirom, i even tried to use other models and bios versions. always gets stuck on starting game or sometimes just black screen after it showed starting game tried different memorycards too. please help.

The report templates are there for a reason. Next time please use them.

v4.4 is the very BIOS I use and I can 100% guarantee it works flawlessly. The symptoms you are having sound like your laser is weak, and there's nothing I can do with that.

but its reading all my original copy games smoothly. first i thought something went wrong when burning, but i used the burned disc on my ps2 and it worked fine.

A burned copy and an original copy are made from totally different materials: the former is made with a semitranslucid organic material that degrades over time, while the later uses a fully reflective inorganic aluminium layer. For obvious reasons, a weaker laser has a harder time reading the former, while it might flawlessly read the later.

If that copy (of a game you've still not told me) is working on your PS2, it's highly likely it's just the PS1 acting up then.

FIXED IT! its not the laser. its the CD, i burned my games with maxell cd-r. it only works on my ps2, jsut got my hands on a verbatim cd-r and burned silent hill and it works now with tony hax scph101 v.4.4. burned it with half the speed my cd can do. with the maxell one, i used the slowest speed. i think it depends on how u burn and what cdr ur using
