RSE roles outside university plenary panel to be held at RSECon23 from 09:45-10:30 on Thu 07 September. We could ask the chair to say something about what this WG group is doing on role diversity

“This panel session will bring together members of the Research Software Engineering community to share their experiences of RSE roles outside the university research setting; including charity, civil service, industry and national laboratories. The aim of this panel is to proactively expose the community to a variety of roles and careers, and hear about the different opportunities and challenges that are faced, in different sectors of working life.”
