I actually realised that this isn't working perfectly as it might crash if you select a file that's not in the expected format. Will modify this pull request within the next few days

Going to hold off on merging this as there is a big refactor in the works which may render this broken. I'd encourage you to revisit it once the refactor is in :) thank you so much for helping out!
