images aren't displayed in exportet pdf, css won't work either #24

When I'm exporting pages or posts via pdf, there aren't any images in the pdf. Only a broken link icon is shown. Also the css has no influence on the style in the exported pdf. When I'm printing into a pdf, images are shown and the style is according to css I used in the backend. Is it a bug or because it's still beta or am I doing somthing wrong?

Thanks.

Are you using the version on WordPress.org or the one here at GitHub (v 0.2.8)?

sven-81 commented 9 years ago

First I used the Wordpress-Version and experienced this behavior. So I downloaded a few minutes ago the GitHub-Version 0.2.8. Still no images.

backend pdf

Watermark as image won't work either. I got the page as a test-version on a subdomain with htaccess-protection. Could that be an issue? But an the other hand, in the printing-Version everything is fine with the paths.

I suspect that it's a bug, but did you remove the old plugin from the server before you added 0.2.8 ?

.. btw, does epub work (images and css)?

soderlind commented 9 years ago

On my test-rig I don't have the problems you describe above. Are your images on a different subdomain ?

sven-81 commented 9 years ago

Thanks for your responses. Actually this first time I didn't removed the plugin. Now I deinstalled and reinstalled the plugin, same result. In the epub file the css works, but still no images. I copied the path of the file and can browse it in firefox.

Ok, found it: The images are not showing because of the httacces-protection. Without it the images are there, as well als the watermark image. Css also fine. I'm really sorry. Thanks for your help anyway. Great tool. Issue can be closed, have a nice weekend.
