Safari copy/paste not working #1000

You MUST include a clear description of the bug and EXACT steps to reproduce the bug or IT WILL BE CLOSED:

Using the copy/paste functionality of Breakdance to copy sections/elements from one page/website to another (so within the same domain and between domains). It doesn't do anything using Safari. Please try it yourself, it just does not work. Is there anything that can be done? Safari is my main browser, I don't feel like using battery drinking Chrome or other browers.

I'm on the latest of everything: Safari, Mac OS, ...

It still does not work unfortunately with v1.7.0 beta 2

I also found this issue. To reproduce, I tried to copy and paste across two separate domains running v1.6.1. The source would copy. But pasting the code resulted in nothing.

I was successful copying from Safari and pasting into Chrome.

My guess there's something with the way Safari handles the clipboard.

Could you try again? It seems like Safari fixed the underlying bug with the Clipboard API. If that does not work, what's your Safari version?
