White on white canvas when editing (items not visible)

This issue I reported as a bug, but it is also a feature request.

The request is for an option to change the canvas color in the editor screen of Breakdance, because if something is white on white then certain changes can't be seen when editing. I submitted this as a bug because it probably happens in any similar scenario, though my scenario is specific.

For example:

1. Create a Header with any background color other than white
2. Add a menu with white text as the menu color
3. Save that menu as a Global Block
4. Proceed to edit the recently created Global Block
5. The menu is editable like any other Global Block, but you can't see any menu items/links because they are white on a white canvas

This could be avoided in my scenario by not saving the menu as a Global Block, but I have need to save the menu as a Global Block so that I can use it in multiple places without having to manage or update multiple menu instances, creating more work than needed.

My suggestion for this is to add a "Canvas Mode" toggle option in the "Perferences" panel. See screenshot below.
