Add tests #37

Add tests to the project.

This PR builds on top of work done in #35 and #33 and should be reviewed after those two PRs are reviewed. It implements everything required to start work on #4.

This PR does the following:

Add a sample test with pytest
Add flake8 testing
Fix PEP8 errors in the project
Integrate with travis
