is maintenance help needed? #10

PRs here are now ~6 months old, with must-have bug fixes.

We (folk using it) can release a newly-named crate with fixed source with no permission, but perhaps nicer would be if we could contribute directly to the existing crate (repo + crates.io permission) and just fix it up in situ.

I am hoping to get this crate maintained again. I do not really want to reproduce it under another name.

@softprops We need some input here, people like using this crate and it is an unmaintained state. Please allow some of us to have write access to and we can take the load off of you
