Growl on windows support? #7

Growl exists for windows and there is a growlnotify version. It could be useful to add support for windows as well...

I was also thinking of supporting "yell".

Which do you think is more canonical?

I have no idea, I liked the idea of your plugin and would be fine with either ;)

Hey Doug,

What do you think about modifying MEOW to use this: http://code.google.com/p/jgntp

It's supposed to work on Mac and Windows. If I fix up my libnotify-bin hack to instead use org.freedesktop.notification then I think we'd be in good shape for UI notificatins cross-platform.

Not having access to Mac/Windows I'm kind of out of my element using that library....

I'm not sure who doug is, but that does seem to be the best choice in library for windows/mac.

Sorry about the close/open, the "comment and close" button is a bit of a weird usability issue.
