Clicking into the speci... #155

Hi Clem,

If you accidentally click with the mouse near the green line into the Speci, the frequency changes and QIRX adjusts the PPM setting of the dongle to “correct” this. I thought such kind of bug was fixed a long time ago?

I guess you mean such a behavior.

Well, back in the 2.1.1.9 times, there was an extra option right next to the speci, especially for its mouse-click-drag-behavior. Do you remember? (old song by Phil Collins) ;)

Heiko,

your observation is not generally true. Also due to @andimik 's remark in #25, the possibility to change frequency on DAB by clicking into the spectrum has long been removed.

However, the behavior you are observing happens when receiving DAB and having activated a raw recorder, also a PPPRTK recorder which also processes raw data. Not a serious bug, but not nice, and will be cleared.

Wow, that's really interesting.

If you start a brand new QIRX, you can click into the speci as long as you want - nothing happens.

But after you have done one IQ-recording (or if a IQ-recording is still running), you’ll see the behavior like shown in the first post.
