QL syntax #1

The examples in the sheets have a different syntax than the syntax in the document in the wiki. Are we supposed to use the format in the sheets, in the document or are we allowed to roll out our own format?

It's only a small difference. You can pick either variant. You are allowed to make other changes as well, but don't let it diverge too much.
