What date are we targeting for DCN5?
I would like to see all planning finalized for Jan 31 with a target date of Tuesday Feb 11, 2014.
I'm 100% open to changing those dates as they are completely arbitrary. I'd like to set a date very soon though. Let's move discussion on the date to this issue: https://github.com/softwareniagara/feedback/issues/50
Should we use a newsletter to find presenters and remind subscribers about coworking and devtricks at the same time?
Yes, I think that's a great idea.
I can write a newsletter tonight.
@controlz @dideler - I sent you a test of the newsletter. Would you mind proof reading it?
@JFAmprimoz @tmadej - I also sent you both a copy of the newsletter that will be going out. Can you please make sure you are okay with the parts that pertain to you? Thanks.
Works for me.

Thanks Nick, I like the xmassy look of it. Here are some minor suggestions:
Thanks Dennis, I made all of your changes.
Thanks Nick, the Startup Niagara shout out is accurate and appreciated!
Got PhantomCompass on board. Probably PixelNauts too - waiting on a firm confirmation from the latter. Might have one or two groups from the Every1Games program on board too. Have to wait and see what the students think of the idea.
Okay, the students from Every1Games will not be participating directly. Their work will be part of the keynote. So we are still looking for three demos.
Any restriction on topic? Is it no longer a themed DemoCamp as a result of Every1Games not participating? That would been cool. Another time.
Every1Games is still doing the keynote. But yeah, no restrictions on topic.
We've moved the date to March 4. I know some of you were interested in demoing but weren't quite ready. Hopefully these extra couple weeks give you the time you need.
Finally secured the last demo: Capredoni-Empower tablet computers and educational software.
Interested in giving a demo of software/technology that you built? This can include SAAS, mobile apps, games, or any product or service where software plays a pivotal role.
Please reply to this thread with your name, company/institution (if application), project title, and project description.
If you know someone that wants to give a demo but is not on GitHub, please add them here. With his or her permission of course.
