Rephrase question? #7

This doesn't cater for the scenario where the job demands excel data analysis but the applicant has the background to know it can be done in a better way. Thus a job that doesn't appear to have any software development may end up being totally about software development. Maybe adjust the instructions to make it clear that you're only after what we think the employers expect.

I've addressed this comment directly. People should assess the job advert in hand - even if it's requiring skills that are patently not sufficient - not assess the future requirements of the job.
