Very well written chapter. Clear, excellent review of the process and its challenges.

Two things possibly to address:

the title might be a bit misleading because at the end reader is not (or at least I was not) left with the impression of advice for younger modeller.
THe figures are good but a bit disconnected. Can a reference be included in the body?
