Need someone familiar with jekyll or github pages to help debug a very frustrating bug. #2

Need someone familiar with jekyll or github pages to help debug a very frustrating bug. When I deploy this jekyll page to github pages, all links are relative to the Github Org github pages path https://softwareunderground.github.io/ and not the full repo path https://softwareunderground.github.io/open_geosciene_code_projects_viz/ This breaks all the pages links and some of the links to JS and JSON. I'm a bit stumped. I tried changing some things in https://github.com/softwareunderground/open_geosciene_code_projects_viz/blob/main/_config.yml as some stackoverflow questions suggest trying to use a base url but it didn't seem to have any affect on the behavior.

Sorta fixed it but had to add open_geosciene_code_projects_viz/explore/into a lot of links and take out url from _config.yml while still leaving in baseurl of open_geosciene_code_projects_viz/. It sorta works but seems a bit more hardcoded than ideal. Not sure all links fixed.
