Externalize environmental properties for tests to settings files #239

To avoid having to change to source code for the tests just to be able to run 
it we need to externalize environmental properties, e.g. hostname, port, 
cert-file and password..., for tests to settings files.

Each developer needs to have a separate settings file not checked into 
subversion with his own settings.
