Logging: truncate large payloads when running with DEBUG-level #373

The DefaultEventLogger logs payloads if the log4j-level is set to DEBUG, if payloads are large (for example 20mb) this is sometimes impractical. Suggest we add option to truncate payloads, but keep default behaviour as is.
