Luis, please check if you have pulled the current version. The documentation was restructured quite a lot after the Brugges meeting and for example the dmc folder is no longer there... It's hard to merge your commits to main branch then...

@DajanaSnopkova I merged main again into this branch and had no conflicts. Do you wish me to place the PID file in a different folder?

Yes please. Currently I see it in your branch under dmc folder. Which is not existing in the main branch now. In the architecture design there is currently no standalone component called Persistent Identifier Mint. In fact it is missing, but I will add it to the Harvester component (now you can see a chapter on Persistence identification there see).

I moved the file to the technical_components folder. The definition of PID currently in the Hasvester document is not canonical.
