The Soilwise project aims to develop an open access knowledge and data repository to safeguard soils. This repo is a placeholder to steer the functional requirements of the system.
Data could be downloaded from the SWR “as is” or in an “interoperable way”. “As is” means the SWR is a broker connecting a user to a relevant data source. The “interoperable way” means the SWR is a mediator that converts external data into, e.g. INSPIRE compliant through an ETL-like tool, e.g. HALE from WE.
[ ] organisations are endorsed to publish both the original data and the harmonised data
[ ] a location is available where harmonisation/alignment configuration for a dataset is stored
[ ] an engine which is able to perform a harmonisation/alignment (on the fly/preprocessed/as a service)
