What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Base install of IOS 5.0.1 (IPAD)and imame 1.10
2. Load any game (volume through speakers not headphones)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When playing a game expect audio to come through IPAD inbuilt speakers as when
previously installed on IOS 4.3.3. Now you only get sound if you insert the
headphone Jack. All other applications/videos/music etc. play as normal.

I have tried this with multiple game but examples are outrun, robocop, space
harrier

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

IOS 5.0.1 and imame4all 1.10

Please provide any additional information below.

The same problem occurs when trying imame4all that was previously available
through the app store. However, this report is about imame4all from cydia

On settings page which comes up before you go into the game, have you checked
the sound settings isn't on 'Off'?

Problem fixed. Although not sure if the problem is with Redsnow.

On a new restore of IPAD to 5.0.1 and then jailbreak using redsnow when you
start imame4all you get no audio.

I fixed it by bringing up the Multitak bar and muting and then unmuting the
sound. Doing this appears get audio from imame4all. I have tried three
seperate restores of the ipad and it happens on each occassion.

Thank you for the reponse. I will close.
