What if the user uploads the same image file multiple times? Should multiple NFTs point to the same image asset, or should we add some kind of unique id to each image so there is always 1:1 nft:image?
Can we combine the funding transaction with the mint transaction to reduce 1 signature?
- I think this is possible, but it would be complex. we would need to execute this transaction first, optimistically computing the file urls, then upload the files to bundlr. If the upload failed for any reason the mint would then be invalid. Not worth this added complexity IMO.
Another way to reduce the number of signs would be to use an ephemeral signer for the media and/or metadata files. This would make these files effectively permanent which (I think) would be unacceptable for the image files. But maybe makes sense for the metadata?
