Genotyping List Inconsistencies

Expected Behavior

In the List Manager:

• You can create a list of type "genotyping_trials" - are these genotyping protocols or projects?
• A list of genotyping projects fails validation
• A list of genotyping protocols also fails validation

In the Search Wizard:

• If you select an existing list of genotyping projects or protocols you get an error: "List is not of an appropriate type."
• If you create a list of genoyping projects or protocols directly in the Search Wizard - the list type is set to "null" and the lists do not work if you try to use them later (same error as above)

In T3, we use "genotyping protocol" essentially as synonymous with "Marker platform". We use "genotyping experiment" to mean a set of accessions that were submitted and analyzed together to score markers. For a list of genotyping experiments, the obvious use case is that you want to bring together genotypes from a number of different submissions / scoring times. This would be distinct from getting genotypes from accessions even if the genotypes were scored in different genotyping experiments. The use case of a list of genotyping protocols is more tenuous. I could imagine wanting to do it if you wanted to download different experiments to test imputation across protocols. In any event, for genotyping experiments for sure I would like to have a list selector in the wizard.
