Mention Unhosted/remoteStorage as a non-normative input #65

This shows the synergies between the work we do together in the Solid project and the work people (including myself) did under the banner of "Unhosted CG", and the fact that the two projects have always been in touch and following each other's work. It underlines that we are open for discussion and collaboration, so I think that's a good additional thing to mention.

@csarven you can check out

@elf-pavlik , thanks. I'm aware of the work (even back in Social Web WG). My emphasis was on the direction of the work since the context is about coordination with UWCG.

Since remoteStorage is already an IETF internet draft and it's so similar to Solid Protocol, I don't think it should be a separate deliverable. It should just be considered as an input, as in, prior art that we can learn from while writing Solid Protocol 1.0.

+1 in the early years solid was very much inspired by the work of unhosted / remoteStorage and the free software community. I remember meeting @elf-pavlik and @michielbdejong in Unhost over 10 years ago, and one of the topics discussed there was linked data.

See this blog post from the RWW Group in 2013, where much of the Solid work was pioneered

@michielbdejong it is very similar, the two could almost be the same thing with a couple of tweaks, hence, growing the ecosystem of users, apps, developers, servers.
