@TallTed , I appreciate your care with the minutes a lot! (Yes, even down to the level of adding the missing trailing slash on TR URL.) I've noticed that you've been using " *... " on recent minutes when it is the same speaker. I know the "..." is a practise / shorthand used for scribing on W3C IRC - at the very least. This is generally fine but for consistency with the past minutes, I thought it'd be okay to not bother changing what has been minuted, i.e., with the initials. Hope you don't mind if we stick to that for now? We are not currently processing the speaker information in https://github.com/virginiaBalseiro/solid-ecosystem-monitor/ but I can see this being used. We may need to have it parse both and possible approaches later.
I like the automated activity analysis, but am concerned that using * XX
for every line, even when it's the same speaker for several lines in a row, makes it harder for humans to parse.
The reason I put in the * ...
(following a * XX
) is to make it easier to see that the same speaker is speaking, when a human is reading the minutes, which is usually what they're primarily meant for.
