mark as regression, Having tested both old firmware and new, this functionality was/is correct in the setup from the sd card.

sd flashed version Totals are aggregated properly both systems running on one older firmware pi

built from source latest version, totals match last inverter both systems running on one pi

both systems running on one pi latest checked this morning on the pi left running the newest firmware (because of times being correct and needing the mqtt going forward) and the issue appears to have corrected itself. see photo above. Wierd one. perhaps there is some situation where the etotal is not receiving both values to sum and something else later in the code resolves this. Anyway its no longer an apparent issue
