What happened? #191

About a year or so ago, Data Mapper 2 was on the horizon using Veritas and Virtus. Thinking that things must be pretty stable by now, I come back to find Veritas is gone, and Data Mapper 2 has been replaced by ROM with no mention of Virtus. What happened?

I believe both projects are adopting axiom.

@trans we started ROM because DM2 felt like a wrong direction being a completely new project and at the same time a major version upgrade of an existing project. We also dislike using DM as the name so we ditched it.

Virtus is part of the so called ROM ecosystem but it's not really coupled with ROM project. There will be some integration between virtus and ROM though.

...and Veritas was renamed to Axiom like @christhekeele already mentioned :)
