Trust line issue #410

Open BigDrT opened 2 years ago

BigDrT commented 2 years ago

Hello, It appears Solo holders were fine for snapshot but then needed a Trustline to receive the Solo airdrop. My address is on the wallet error list. Your directions are poor and sound like nothing is needed other than Solo in the Solo wallet. I do not have any “ add trustline” button when you click the DEX button on the App. For iPad, iOS phone or Mac and Microsoft computers. I tried them all. Where do I find the “add trustline” on the Solo DEX??? I have the xrptoolkit wallet trustline prepared.

Address: ssY7KhQoKaQ8YRvJc9m2jCNQLz333 I recruited my crypto savvy son and he cannot find the “add trustline” button/section either. Is there a glitch or error in the Solo Wallet App? I need some help here!!! Grissotrace@gmail.com

You can click on Assets > add asset (on Solo Dex) or add your trustline via sologenic.org. I personally did mine via sologenic.org as I find it more reliable.

Just follow the instructions for the trustline. Copy and paste

https://sologenic.medium.com/sologenic-solo-airdrop-distribution-complete-official-report-8e5d8594e43e

In summary the trustline details are

Issuer:

rsoLo2S1kiGeCcn6hCUXVrCpGMWLrRrLZz

Currency:

534F4C4F00000000000000000000000000000000

Limit: 400000000

GOOD LUCK!

Riley, I know all this. I have the Solo trustline active on XRPtoolkit. What is not working is going to Sologenic.org which allows me to click “access DEX”. I already have a Solo wallet and my $XRP and $Solo tokens are on the SoloDEX. I researched connecting a trustline and appears I need a computer. I’ve been on computer and see nothing for connect a Trustline. I added my XRPtoolkit address to the SoloDEX as a new wallet by using the “add token” button but my snapshot is from my Solo wallet. Where or what do I click on the SoloDEX to get to the trustline addition?

Thank you for your response but I worked on this for 4-5 hours last night and have everything for the trustline except adding my XRPtoolkit address to my current Solo wallet.

I assume it will be similar for Coreum Trustline?

Hi Trace Once you log into the Solo Dex and launch/connect the app you should click on the wallet icon. Once you click on the wallet icon it will bring you to the page where you will see your solo/xrp account balance. On this screen you will also see a GREEN button which says “+ ADD ASSET”. Click on ‘Custom Asset’ and then add the details for the issuer, currency and limit and then click Next. Once you click next it populates a message requesting you to sign in and authorise the trustline (it might send it to your mobile device). Once you authorise it on whatever device you’re using. A message will appear to say “Trustline set”. You can then see that a trustline has been modified from your solo dex app in your history. You can check your trustline via trustlines.xrplstatus.com but I’m assuming you already know that.

Riley, Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I tried for 2 more hours again today and actually randomly tried what you said. Then I got your email. It worked!! I did not know you can check the Trustlines. I am not constantly on crypto as I work in medicine. I can usually figure it out as I did today but it’s tough learning. There is a lot of assumption that “people” know how to flow through the crypto universe. The Solo directions stink on several levels. Nothing like doing it yourself to learn.

I appreciate your time to describe in detail. Gold STARs for you!!

Haha it’s my pleasure. I just wish there wasnt so much conflicting information out there (on youtube, twitter and reddit). The solo page clearly says that all you needed to do was to deposit money into your dex and once your account has been activated you don’t need to do a single thing. Little did we know we still needed to establish a trustline. Like you I am not tech savvy and not with any of the crypto lingo. Once I figured it out I thought to myself, I would have liked for this information to be readily available for people like us who arent so familiar with this crypto world, as I’m sure there’s a lot of people in the same boat. Anyways, glad you got it up and running. I took heaps of screenshots to prove that i have a proper trustline set up with the solo details should any anyone come back to me saying I did it incorrectly. Good luck :) ready for the 4th 🤞🤞🤞🙏🙏🙏

BigDrT commented 2 years ago

You’re awesome!! I still am not sure I did it correct but it said Trustline created. None of this is how anyone describes it. And they did say we need to do nothing. Why would I need a trustline when I have their Solo wallet and connected to their Solo-DEX. Stupid. If you read it close it says those things for the snapshot, the trustline is needed to RECEIVE the AD. Coreum language is the same so Im setting a trustline for that as well. Thank you so much, man I am blessed you helped. I hope it works and need the Solo price to go back north.

Not yet, however there’s like around 10000 of us who were impacted so I’m assuming it will take a day or so or even a few days considering the last airdrop took quite some time. 🤞

rileylucas commented 2 years ago

Strike that last comment. WOO HOOO just refreshed and just got mine. FINALLY! make sure you add your Coreum trust line also.

BigDrT commented 2 years ago

I got mine last night about 7:30pm CST- I’m in Texas. Coreum is set now and thanks to you I learned how to set and also check the XRPLscan!!! Hope you get your Solo….I bought a little high so I hope this can offset the average. You made a difference for me!!

Hey Trace That’s great to hear you finally received yours also. Yeh, I’m in the same boat. I had around 140,000 xrp and swapped it all for solo when solo was trading at close to $6 so I definitely need solo to go back up. Was initially going to trade half of my solo back to xrp, however as my loss is already so high I’m just going to wait for all the airdrops and buy more xrp on the side. I’m never being greedy again! lesson definitely learned!

BigDrT commented 2 years ago

I’m not in that deep but if I had the money I would have- greed can set us all up. Hey, you never know what Solo will do and Coreum as well. I’m holding these and will see. Let’s hope the SEC case gets settled for XRP as well. God bless your kind spirit. Hope you find the MOON in Crypto!!
