I can't really understand why printing is necessary. The primary function of a text editor is to alter plaintext that remains on the local machine. If someone wishes to print this text out as a document, they use a word processor like libre office. Dealing with printing will become very complex and take a lot of time, forcing you to deal with advanced formatting issues, altering the original goal of the program for a feature only one in every one hundred users will actually make use of.
I think I will not try and hit this release, but I do want this to stay on the features to implement eventually. As I use it at work. :)
Maybe instead functionality to export to PDF? Then it's in a printable form. Could even include syntax highlighting formatting maybe... On 19 Feb 2015 19:32, "Ryan Sipes" notifications@github.com wrote:

I'd be open to that.
I print a lot of code for school, yes I said I print code. I always save to pdf first so that I get syntax highlighting and line numbers. Plus it makes it easier to print from the school's computers.
This would require more dependencies and a lot of work. Perhaps it should be moved past the 1.1 milestone?
Changed to 1.2
Cannot currently print to a real-life printer. This must be added.
