Context and some menus, modals not showing (Chromium, Krusader) #1066

Operating System: Budgie 17.04 Budgie version: budgie-desktop 10.3.1

The issue encountered

Context and some other menus not showing (at all).

Tried to check against a new user, but failed to load into a shell - budgie-wm is running and I can use Alt+F2, Alt+Ctrl+T, open Settings but separate graphical instances do not load (cannot open Chromium or Krusader there, even though it is visible in the Alt-Tab menu) and I do not see the taskbar or the main bar.

EDIT: Found the missing windows on the second user - they were on a monitor I usually keep turned off but is the default by default. The context menus work correctly there.

please can you add some pictures? Is this a theme issue? Check if all is well with the default System Theme and Arc-Darker.

Checked against the "Built-In Theme" on/off, different Widget themes, no change.

Added a video file with a lot of clicking and no menus: budgie-menus2.zip [118KB]

Is there a way to reset desktop settings? Maybe I have overcustomized something? I would re-add my customizations and monitor, where exactly the functionality breaks.
